The original flooring was a laminate tile. It was poorly maintained with lots of cracks and stains. I utilized renter-friendly peel and stick linoleum tiles to cover the floor in the kitchen and living space.

Walls were spackled. sanded, primed and painted. Original grey/blue color in living spaces was changed to a blush shade, the bright sea-foam green in the bedroom was swapped for a darker olive green. The original brown blinds were removed, mounted curtain rods approx. 6 inches above the window trim with full length curtains

Metal shelving unit. ill mounted shelves, and rotting wood cabinet had to be torn down on the north wall next to the refrigerator. New kitchen wall cabinets mounted in their place. Lowest shelf in the closet was removed as well as both clothing rods, new units installed to maximize space.

All preexisting furnishings aside from the queen bed, and kitchen appliances were removed. New furnishing were collected, mainly sourced via Facebook Marketplace (transported by subway) in the living and kitchen areas.
Plans to install a track curtain to divide the living room and kitchen. Our living space is often used for overnight guests, a curtain will also provide privacy. Temporarily, created, and installed a beaded curtain.
